Ingredients
1literwhite wine
2ozcaster sugar
5ozpear juice
4cinnamon sticks
5star anise
15 - 20ginger slicesfreshly cut
2ozlemon juice freshly squeezed
5lemon slices
pear slices for garnish
Instructions
Add all ingredients into a saucepan and put it on the stove on medium heat.
1 liter white wine, 2 oz caster sugar, 5 oz pear juice, 4 cinnamon sticks, 5 star anise, 15 - 20 ginger slices, 2 oz lemon juice, 5 lemon slices
Stir gently until the sugar is fully dissolved. Also, make sure the wine does not start to boil because that will cook the alcohol out.Now let the mixture simmer for 20 - 30 minutes.
